Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Harp Electric is a registered BC electrical contractor (Licence #EC-104512) with Red Seal certified electricians, full liability insurance and WorkSafeBC coverage. We're happy to send certificates before work starts.
Do you charge for quotes?
No, quotes are free. For most jobs we can quote from photos and a phone call; for panels, renos and EV chargers we'll do a free site visit. Every quote is flat-rate and in writing, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
Do you pull permits and arrange inspections?
Always, on any job that requires one. We pull the Technical Safety BC permit, book the inspection, meet the inspector, and close the permit, the paperwork lands in your inbox when it's done.
Can my panel handle an EV charger?
Usually, even many 100A homes can take a Level 2 charger with a proper load calculation or a load-miser device, no panel upgrade needed. We run the numbers first and tell you the cheapest safe option, plus which BC Hydro and CleanBC rebates apply.
What warranty do you offer?
Five years on workmanship, if anything we installed fails because of how we installed it, we fix it free. Fixtures and devices also carry their manufacturer warranties, and we handle those claims for you in year one.
